Today I went for a drive to Point Reyes, California. This national preserve is full of wild flowers, coastal beaches, and cows. There are a number of historic ranches on the peninsula, and they are still working. Most of these properties have been updated to allow for more modern living, compared to the days they were originally settled.
During the time I was there this morning it was so misty and foggy that I didn’t even bother to go to the beaches. The closer you got to them the thicker the mist. But I did take a few photos of the flora and fauna. I saw a number of birds, many different kinds, also a dear, which you may not be able to see in the picture. He is standing basically IN a bush. The ravens are huge. I missed the shot of 5 or more each sitting on a fence post in a row. By the time I stopped and got the camera out, they decided they had enough.
I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
Here is the pictures on Flickr. This may be easier to view then the slide show.
