When you have a collection of plants, and limited space, how do you get rid of ones you no longer want, or have room for. It seems such a waste to throw them away. And in my case I don’t have pots I can put them in to give them away. Also many times I have no one who really wants them.
I came up with a solution. It is a bit like guerrilla gardening. I found a section of the grounds at my apartment building that is neglected. It gets consistent water from the sprinklers, and has a very old layer of bark mulch. It gets the same sun as my deck, so the plants will not be loosing sun.
I have planted a mini rose, a morning-glory that had been cut way back, and scattered some of the expired seeds I have held on to. Time will tell how well these plants do or if they die, or get pulled up.
